Westport Book Shop is Westport, Connecticut's only independent non-profit, year-'round resource for high quality gently used and antiquarian books, vintage vinyl records, and more.  Our Book Shop has more than 5,000 books in over 30 categories, plus a broad selection of vinyl records, CDs, DVDs, and audio books.

Please note:  As of March 7, 2022, wearing a face mask inside the Book Shop is at each guest's discretion.  

Hand sanitizer is available for your use upon entry into the shop, and at the cashier station.  Social distancing continues to be recommended. 

The Drew Friedman Art Place at the Westport Book Shop

Westport Book Shop is partnering with the Drew Friedman Community Arts Center to feature different local artists' work at the Book Shop every month.

Our featured artist for the month of November 2024 is Michael Tomashefsky

The Westport Book Shop welcomes as guest exhibitor in the Book Shop's Drew Friedman Art Place, local photographer Michael Tomashefsky, who is exhibiting a selection of his photographs of local scenescapes.

​

The Westport Book Shop will hold a reception for Micahel and his exhibit on Wednesday evening, November 13, 2024 from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm.

​

Michael's work will be on exhibit at the Book Shop through November 30, 2024.  All artwork on display is available for purchase.

​

We welcome, and are very grateful for, your donation of gently used books, vinyl records and other media.  Your donations help our Book Shop thrive!​

Donations should be brought to the big grey Book Donation Center in the Westport Library's Upper Parking Lot.  For information about when and how to donate your used books, vinyl records and other media, and for a list of the materials that we do, and do not, accept for donation, please click here.
